Parent – DPS Board Chair As a parent of a Dalyellup Primary School student I wanted to give back and contribute to the school in a productive and efficient manner. Becoming a School Board member and Chairperson has allowed me this opportunity and has provided me with a greater understanding of Dalyellup Primary School’s operation. I intend to bring a parent’s perspective to the to board, which will guide decision making and planning for the future of the school at a strategic level. Having worked across both government and private industries as well as being involved in community sport holding numerous positions, the skills and perspective that I have will allow me to communicate effectively between the school and the broader school community. I can be contacted by email on ChairpersonDPS@hotmail.com or 0417 905 540 |

Principal Commencing at Dalyellup Primary School in 2020 I was committed to ensuring the School Board had an active role in the strategic planning and governance of the school. As the Principal of Dalyellup Primary School I admire and value the sense of community the families bring to our community. Having our families involved in the education of our students is a vital element of school improvement. Our Board members bring a wide range of skills and interests to the group and I am genuinely excited to be working with them as we realise the aspirations of our Business Plan 2022 – 2024. |

Parent Board Member I joined the school board as I have a passion for Children’s education and well-being. I enjoy being involved with our school community and believe all children deserve a quality education enabling positive outcomes for all students. I have two children of ten and seven years who started and continue their education journey at Dalyellup Primary School. My employment background has been predominantly in Staff Management, Recruitment and the Human Resources field, with a good knowledge of Accreditation (Quality Innovation Performance) in the government sector. |

Community Representative and past P&C President When the Principal asked me if I would consider a position on the DPS Board, there was never any doubt as my connection and commitment to DPS through my children that attended, being past DPS P&C President, to my families personal connection to Regan’s Playground is unwavering. I have and continue to grow strong ties to Dalyellup and the wider South West community through my involvement in sporting groups and committees over many years.” |

Staff Representative and Parent Board Member As one of two Kindergarten teachers at Dalyellup Primary School, I feel that my knowledge and expertise of working with young children in Early Childhood will ensure that these essential years are represented on the School Board. I believe young children deserve an advocate to have their voices heard, and I feel strongly that I can do this. Furthermore, I recently moved to Dalyellup and the school and wanted to become involved further in the community and I thought volunteering for the School Board, that my own son also attends, would be a wonderful way to contribute back to my community. I look forward to helping the Board achieve its goals. |

Staff Representative and Parent Board Member As both a parent and long serving staff member at D.P.S. I am passionate about our school, the students and local community. I have been very fortunate over the years to see our school community evolve and transition into the dynamic place it is today. Before becoming a teacher, I had a variety of different roles, including marketing and management through my previous studies and work life. I grew up in a small country town, so I understand the importance of being involved with your local school. This, along with the changing nature of our community, meant I was motivated to play a part in guiding and directing the future decisions that will affect our school and kids in the coming years. |
